Breast Enlargement surgery, otherwise known as a breast augmentation, is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgery procedures in the United States today, and recent years have seen huge increases in the numbers of women who have had breast enlargement surgery. Whilst breast enlargement surgery was once seen as the preserve of the rich and famous, this type of surgery has nowadays become increasingly accessible to the everyday woman on the street.
These lowering in costs for breast enlargement surgery, coupled with the medical developments in breast enlargement procedures, have seen consistently increasing numbers of women in the United States choosing to have their breasts enhanced surgically.
The main reasons that women choose to undergo breast enlargement surgery are due to the individual already having smaller breasts, or through a decrease in the size of their breasts following childbirth.
It is widely acknowledged that having smaller breasts can have a detrimental effect on self esteem and the confidence of the individual, with knock-on effects such as affecting the type of clothes that the individual feels they can wear. Many women find those feelings of self confidence and feminimity are regaining following breast enlargement surgery.
In our blog, we will also be covering the various different type of breast enlargement surgery available, as well as looking at other issues including the risks involved, and the associated cost of breast enlargement surgery.
